Ratliff, Brown make Pro Bowl rosters
Jay Ratliff arrived at Auburn as a tight end. He became a defensive end and finally a defensive tackle on the Tigers 13-0 2004 team. And now he's a Pro Bowl starter for the NFC.
The Cowboys chose Ratliff in the seventh round of the 2005 draft. They got a steal. This season, he started all 14 games. He was in on 44 tackles, had seven sacks and batted down five passes, all career highs.
Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown, Ratliff's Auburn teammate, was selected to play in the game as an AFC reserve.
Brown started 11 of Miami's 14 games. He rushed for 827 yards, a career-high 10 touchdowns and caught 24 passes for 218 yards. He also threw two touchdown passes.
The Pro Bowl is set for Feb. 8 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
