J.D. Simpson - J.D. Simpson was born and raised in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He followed in the footsteps of his parents and attended Auburn University, where he was involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including Student Government Association, Sigma Chi Fraternity, and most notably, Auburn's beloved, award-winning mascot, "AUBIE." After graduating with honors with a degree in business administration in 2001, J.D. was accepted into law school at the University of Florida (Levin) College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree with honors in 2004. He then moved to the Orlando area to practice law with Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A., where he is currently a Senior Associate in the Commercial Leasing, Real Estate Transactions, Development and Finance, and Restaurant Service practices. J.D. routinely advises clients on real estate property purchase and sale transactions, leases, mortgage secured financing, the development of real property and the creation of commercial condominiums. J.D. has been involved with the Orlando Area Auburn Club since 2005 and is involved in other local civic and professional organizations, including Florida Citrus Sports, NAIOP, and Best Buddies. J.D.'s favorite memory from Auburn is his first home football game as AUBIE. Auburn scored a touchdown late in the 4th quarter against Appalachian State to secure a 22-15 victory, and J.D. was so excited he did a front-flip into the hedges around Jordan-Hare stadium and impaled himself on a fence post. He finished the game, but was rushed to the emergency room afterwards to receive further medical attention. J.D.'s hobbies include fishing, mountain biking, eating crawfish, critiquing other college mascots and of course, watching Auburn Football!
