Auburn-UGA to be televised...
The Auburn football game against Georgia at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Nov. 15 will be televised regionally by Raycom Sports. Kickoff is slated for 11:30 a.m. CT.
It will mark Auburn's third game this season to be aired by Raycom. The Tigers defeated Southern Miss, 27-13, on Sept. 6 at Jordan-Hare Stadium, and fell at Ole Miss, 17-7, on Nov. 1.
Auburn leads the all-time series with Georgia, 53-50-8, but the Bulldogs own a 13-9-2 record in Auburn. Through 111 meetings, the two teams are separated by just 45 points (Georgia: 1,730; Auburn: 1,685).
Voting Season...
You don't have to wait until November to "get your vote on!" AU is involved in three programs that could have a great impact on our school.
The Marching Band is in a contest with six other schools. These seven schools are not only on a quest for the crystal championship trophy, but they are also on a quest to win a $25,000 donation from Paramount and Lucasfilm Ltd. in the Battle Of The Bands.
VOTE
Liberty Mutual is having the Coach of the Year vote again. More than just a trophy, the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award provides each winning coach with $50,000 to donate to one or more charitable organizations of his choice and a $20,000 grant to donate to his school's alumni association to enhance student scholarships and activities.
VOTE
We all know we have the best mascot in the land...heck, we have the best two! Aubie is in the Capital One Bowl contest again and is having a rough couple of weeks. We need to VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!

AUBURN CREED
I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count
only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.
I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work
wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.
I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot
win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.
I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is
not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.
I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.
I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my
fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.
I believe in my country, because it is a land of freedom and
because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that
country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly
with my God."
And because Auburn men and women believe in these things,
I believe in Auburn and love it.
by George Petrie, Auburn professor and first coach of Auburn’s Football team
